Mike Conroy, NSPG Founder & VP of Business Development
Mike is VP of Business Development at NSPG, Inc. where he has worked since founding the company in 1990. Mike grew up in the Plumbing & Heating business and is a 3rd generation Licensed Master Plumber.
Mike created the National Standard Price Guide service pricing system for PHCC and Electrical service businesses based on his own PHC business with an aim to improve his bottom line. At the time there were no easy to use software tools available to help organize and operate his plumbing & heating company.
Mike hired a team of programmers, and, together with a group of other successful contractors, began to create the NSPG System. Over the years, these products have grown more powerful and easier to use. Thousands of service calls are made each day using the NSPG System.
Mike began gathering his information, and started coding the first iteration of what would become the foundation of NSPG. In 1990 NSPG was born.
Mike began to build a team of professional developers to continue to capture the amazing techniques he used everyday in his business. A couple of years later Numbers Cruncher and Price Guide was complete, and thousands of service companies began to build more profitable businesses using NSPG software.
For the past 25 years, Mike has worked closely with small to mid-sized PHCC and Electrical business owners to help them grow their businesses and increase profits with the National Standard Price Guide System.
Mike continues to consult and train contractors all across the country. He personally enjoys seeing companies grow profits, satisfy customers, improve the lives of their entire team, and build the professional image of our great industry. Mike is a technician at heart and believes that with the right tools and knowledge all techs can realize their true potential, and be proud of what they do.
Currently Mike leads Sales/Marketing business development for the firm. His day to day responsibilities include managing sales, client relationships, overseeing software
Mike has worked with over 3,000 plumbing, heating, cooling, and electric businesses.
